Most importantly, Sam is a husband and father who believes it is the responsibility of each generation to defend the American Dream and pass it on to our children.
That’s why Sam decided to serve Northeast Florida in the State Legislature, where he quickly established himself as a voice for limiting government, lowering taxes, protecting life, defending families, creating jobs, fighting crime, and safeguarding our constitutional rights.

Sam has worked to address some of our state’s greatest challenges, including protecting our communities, creating jobs, promoting mental health, fighting for lower insurance premiums, cutting taxes, and supporting a more affordable Florida.
The people of Northeast Florida reelected Sam in 2022 and his colleagues in the legislature chose him to serve as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives for 2026-28. As Speaker and as a lawmaker, Sam will protect our values, preserve individual liberty, and keep Florida free.
